If you love unusual houseplants and you’re as fascinated by staghorn ferns as we are then you’ll love our Mounted Staghorn Fern Workshop, hosted at Perrywood and run by Victoria Hellum – plant enthusiast and founder of @plant_joy.

Staghorn ferns are stunning and make a great talking point! By mounting and displaying these tropical plants on a wall you can have your very own piece of living wall art, something completely personal to you! Alternatively, make as a unique gift for a loved one!

Staghorn ferns are epiphytes, meaning they don’t need soil as they attach themselves to a host plant in their natural environment, and take in water and nutrients from the air! These incredible plants require little root space, so by mounting them and hanging, we can begin to replicate their natural habitat!

In this workshop you will learn the art of mounting and fixing your staghorn fern as well as learning how to fully care for your creation to keep it in optimum condition for years to come.

Tickets are £40 and includes all materials, no experience required.
